I’m so proud of my kids the last few weeks. They are just budding little miniatures of us. It’s crazy.

I’ve been feeling very nostalgic too, looking thru the photos on our old hosted site and especially the ones of them just really little yet, or while I was still pregnant.

I miss my belly. It took me a while to look like I was pregnant, and even when I did, my belly was such a *square* with the babies going vertically like they were standing up and upside down that I never got very rounded.

But, I miss that. I miss my long hair. I wish I’d never cut it.

James thinks he’s big enough to walk up the steps now, instead of crawling. He holds onto the railing and off he goes. He then thinks going down is the same, but he’s not ready for that yet. He needs a little more length to his legs.

He’s such a ham. He is silly and goofy and just a huge ball of energy. While my Dad and Pam were watching them for us a few weekends ago he displayed his creative side by sitting down on the package of diapers they brought and scooting along the floor. He’s always looking at things and figuring out what to do with them.

Evelyn is more our chatter & lovey girl. She frequently gives out hugs and kisses, which are like 20 in a row lasting like a minute each… and that’s pretty accurate.

She has a unique way in which she sits down, she backs her bum up into you and sits. She’s very particular about the way she likes things too. Like if you want to move her as she’s hurting your leg or something, or whatever the reason-not off your lap, just a different position. She gets very upset.

We were somewhere the other night that another little boy also was and the kids were a bit confused by this little boy (a month older than them). Suddenly, Evelyn gets closer and closer and she’s hugging him, like 6 times. The poor little boy would hug back the first few times but he started to get irritated and eventually gave his grandmother some looks like “make her stop” :)

Both the kids are loving eating with a spoon or fork. Evelyn perfers to eat her yogurt in a Go-Gurt form (frozen) and James likes his straight from the cup. Their love of fruit is more a love of mandarin oranges these days. The pears are still OK but it takes a while to get thru the can of peaches.

Both the kids, but especially James LOVE my camera. They know what it does and want to view the photos. Just sitting on my lap and viewing the photos.
